Everywhere!

Ava is moving all around.  She can get anywhere she wishes.  It's pretty cool.  Here's a fun video I shot today.

Ava is 11 months old!

Milestones!
*  Ava is cutting her first tooth on the bottom! 
*  She is a full time cruiser around the furniture!
*  She loves to feed herself and loves eggs, green beans and bananas!
*  She loves her doggie Barkley!
*  Went on her first bike ride with Mom and Dad!

Cruisin!

Ava is getting so good at cruisin around the furniture.  We had to install padded bumpers on the furniture to protect her from falls.  I love this video of her cruisin, exploring and enjoying her ability to move around.  We are all baby proofed and loving this phase of her life!

Boo!

Ava loves to play Peek a Boo!  She opens and closes the door to her house when I say "Peek a Boo"!  Awwwwh!

Scoot!

Ava is really on the move these days.  She loves to roll and scoot across the floor to get where she wants to go.  She also loves to cruise around the furniture!  I spend a lot of my day holding her hands and walking all over.  She feels so proud of herself. 

Here's a video of Ava scooting across the floor to get my cell phone.  I love to challenge her to move places.  She LOVES my phone so I set it on the floor as a "prize" for her to move towards.  I think she knows how to use my phone better than me!  She looks like a professional using her thumbs to hit all the buttons.  So sweet.

10 Months Old! Milestones!

Ava turned 10 months old yesterday.  We celebrated by making music with our pots and pans!  She loved it!

Milestones:
* She is really starting to cruise around the furniture.  She has no fear moving from chair to chair to table.
* She can really get around on the floor by rolling and scooting. 
* She waves "hello" and "bye-bye".
* She is getting really good at feeding herself baby crackers and fruit.
* She is becoming really aware of strangers and can get shy around folks she doesn't know.
* She loves to babble and talk reallllly loud.  We laugh because her voice can get soooo LOUD! :)

Curls!

Ava's hair is quite curly when it's wet.  I used to have ring curls in my hair when I was younger.  Todd also has some curl in his hair.  She's so pretty.

Ava loves to look at herself in the mirror.  She gives herself kisses...it's really sweet.

Ava got some great toys for Christmas.  She loves to play.  We have been introducing a new toy every week or so....to keep the fun going...and to not overwhelm her with so many new toys at the same time.  I love this face she makes when she sucks in her top lip, makes me laugh. 

Trip to see Bob and Rebecca

This past weekend Ava and I flew to Salt Lake City to see Uncle Bob and Aunt Rebecca.  It was a fun weekend and very relaxing.  Their dogs Zachary and Matilda were very interested in their sweet guest.

Barkley is never far from Ava...especially when she is eating.  Ha.  They love to play.  I am sure he will be so happy when she is big enough to throw the ball for him...his favorite thing.
