Jungle Aqua toy

Ava loves her Jungle Aqua crib toy that she got from Great Grandma and Grandpa Cheever. It plays music and has monkeys and fish moving around inside. She stares at it all of the time and talks to it. Doesn't she look so cute? Barkley the dog sits by Ava all of the time. He loves her. I am sure he can't wait until they can play together.

First time swimming

The AC in our house went out on Friday so we opted to stay in a hotel for the first night...a mini vacation. Ava swam in the pool with daddy...the FIRST time in a pool. She was such a sweet pea. At first, she wanted dad to hold her close. Then as she got more comfortable she let him help her swim around. We may have a little swimmer on our hands. She was a natural.

New things!

On July 6th, Ava rolled over for the first time. I didn't SEE her do it, just turned back around and she was on her belly and a little shocked to find herself on her belly. Ha. She hasn't done it again since, but sure tries alot. She rolls to one side and makes a grunting like sound like she's tryyyying so hard to roll. It's sweet.

Her other new thing is that she has discovered her feet, well at least her left foot. She reaches down and holds her left foot with her left hand. Wonder if she will be left handed like her mama? :)

I love watching her play and learn
