10 Months Old! Milestones!

Ava turned 10 months old yesterday.  We celebrated by making music with our pots and pans!  She loved it!

Milestones:
* She is really starting to cruise around the furniture.  She has no fear moving from chair to chair to table.
* She can really get around on the floor by rolling and scooting. 
* She waves "hello" and "bye-bye".
* She is getting really good at feeding herself baby crackers and fruit.
* She is becoming really aware of strangers and can get shy around folks she doesn't know.
* She loves to babble and talk reallllly loud.  We laugh because her voice can get soooo LOUD! :)

Curls!

Ava's hair is quite curly when it's wet.  I used to have ring curls in my hair when I was younger.  Todd also has some curl in his hair.  She's so pretty.

Ava loves to look at herself in the mirror.  She gives herself kisses...it's really sweet.

Ava got some great toys for Christmas.  She loves to play.  We have been introducing a new toy every week or so....to keep the fun going...and to not overwhelm her with so many new toys at the same time.  I love this face she makes when she sucks in her top lip, makes me laugh. 

Trip to see Bob and Rebecca

This past weekend Ava and I flew to Salt Lake City to see Uncle Bob and Aunt Rebecca.  It was a fun weekend and very relaxing.  Their dogs Zachary and Matilda were very interested in their sweet guest.

Barkley is never far from Ava...especially when she is eating.  Ha.  They love to play.  I am sure he will be so happy when she is big enough to throw the ball for him...his favorite thing.
