Christmas early with my aunts and uncles

Ava's aunt Amanda came in town a few weeks ago (Zach couldn't make it because of work).  So we did Christmas for Ava from her Aunts and Uncles a little early.  We had Grandma and Grandpa Kyle, Aunt Lindsey, Uncle Aaron and Aunt Amanda over for some dinner and fun. Boy they sure did a great job picking out the perfect gifts for the little girl.

Ava loves our Christmas Tree

Having an adventure-loving 20 month old with a Christmas tree set up at her eye level has been fun.  And a good teaching opportunity about "look but don't touch".  She has only broken ONE ornament (which my glue gun fixed)....so we feel pretty lucky.  Here's a fun video of her exploring the tree. 

McKenna Carey

My 3rd niece was born on Thanksgiving evening.  Her name is McKenna Carey and she is gorgeous.  She is 7 lb 10 oz and 21" tall.  Love her already.

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a great Thanksgiving.  I am sad we didn't get any pictures of me, Todd and Ava together.  Anyway, here's some fun pictures.  Ava LOVED Rachel's hamster....and kept giving it kisses.  She loves animals.  So sweet.  She loved jumping on the trampoline with Rachel and Nick.  They played with her forever both inside and out, she loves it when people play with her. :)

"Go outside"

Ava loves to play outside.  She says all day "go outside" and does the sign for "please".  SHE LOVES to play in the snow, with rocks and dirt and especially on the playground. 

Ava's Halloween Costume

Ava is going as a 50's girl in a poodle skirt this year for Halloween!  My mom made her costume again this year!  She really out-did her self again this year on the costume!  :)  Ava really loves the costume and touches the silk skirt all the time.

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch by our house today.  Ava, Todd, Lindsey and me had a great day in the 85 degree weather on Oct. 15th.  Gotta love Colorado.  Ava picked out her own pumpkin.  She rode around in her wagon and waved at everyone saying hello.  Sweet girl.
